Print Marketing vs Digital Marketing
Our eyes are glued to the screen. I had to spend over 8 hours today in front of my computer to research this particular topic. So, we can agree that more than 80% of us live our social lives only on digital social media.
Now back to the topic: as a business owner or an agency manager, you might be wondering if print media or print marketing are viable option in this modern world. The simple answer is yes.
An article published in Journal of Marketing and Consumer Research had research done on the exact same argument. The researchers came to conclusion that a client reading about a brand on a printed media had a positive impact on the brand image.
One reading about a brand in printed media makes them trust the brand more easily. Humans tend to remember a picture in a newspaper better than on a computer screen. And printed medias are mostly read in a common place and are less personal, so the person reading it is more likely to share it with someone close by and has a higher possibility of starting a discussion about the said product.
Print marketing is often considered expensive. ,Digital marketing, on the other hand, will reach a large array of customers in a short period of time, and you can effectively target a particular demographic again and again.
So both marketing strategies has its perks and benefits. I come to a conclusion that a tailored mixture of both is essential. Digital Marketing for the initial Torque and Print Marketing for the trustworthiness.
